EPE Department

Contributing to the University’s invigorating growth and being an eminent part of the College of Engineering Studies is the Department of Electrical, Power & Energy. The Department is equipped with a spectrum of courses at undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level. These programs being sector centric enable students to develop in-depth understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical application simultaneously.

There are a number of impactful programs under EPE Department. Major programs are

1.  B.Tech Power Systems Engineering, 

2. B.Tech Electrical Engineering, 

3. B.Tech Energy Engineering with Specialization in IPR, 

4. M.Tech Energy Systems

5. M.Tech Renewable Energy Engineering. 

These disciplines are the intersection of electric power generation, transmission distribution, economics and Energy Management. The program prepares the students for power generation, distribution, Power Equipment and Energy Systems . The program being diverse enables students in showcasing their versatility in securing knowledge from specializations like energy conservation, renewable energy engineering and sustainable development.

EPE Department consist of 22 Faculty Members and 3 DRF's. Most of the faculties are from IIT's , NIT's and from Industrial background.
